Angus's Recount

My Swimming
I hopped in the pool as if I was dead and then the starter yelled, "Get ready" .... "GO!" I pushed off the wall with all my power. My arms were windmills and I kicked for my life.
Soon I got to the wall and I tumble turned. I shot through the water making bubbles. I kept kicking and swinging my arms.
When I touched the finish line, I stopped to see if anyone had bet me. But no, I was first. Charlie was 2nd, Ben B was 3rd. Wow I did it!

Ty's Descriptive Writing

It was as intense as bungy jumping, with the water going into my eyes. People bumping into me but I get them back. I was racing through the water. I skim across the water like a stone. I suddenly finish but I still want to go again. I felt fearless but scared.

Charlie's Descriptive Writing

The biscuit is as bumpy as rocks. I wish I could go on the biscuit. The biscuit looks as blue as the sky. The biscuit looks as big as a raft. It looks great fun, but I've never been on it, instead I went on this roller coaster called the sea viper. It was great, it had loops and everything. While I was on it I was still wondering what the biscuit would look like. I wonder why it was a blow up?

Ben Cullimore's Descriptive Writing

Going around corners skimming across as fast as a jet boat. From the start going really fast, with all the terror coming out of our hearts. When you come off it feels like a rock leaving lots of marks. I would be more than happy to go again.

Tyler's Descriptive Writing

Water skiing, going whoosh, adrenaline went through me. We were going so fast I fell off it like a bird hitting a wall. It hurt! These are the best days.

Tannah's Descriptive Writing

The biscuit is like jumping out of an aeroplane and diving into the freezing cold water, after just flying off the biscuit. Then it felt like I was walking on water, it was awesome until, rip, the bottom of the biscuit ripped. So I had to stop the driver of the boat to tell him that the biscuit ripped. "Oh no", I said the biscuit is ruined, we can't ride it ever again. "That is not good, we will have to get a new one", they said.

Mekeisha's Descriptive Writing

Yes we are going down to the lake. We climb onto the biscuit, suddenly there is a jult as the biscuit rips away with out us. I screamed, "Stop".  They whipped the boat around, they thought that we were on the biscuit but we weren't.

Tylah's Descriptive Writing

I stood on the long pointy stick, as I was shaking. I put my thumb up and grabbed hold of the pole and we went zooming along the water. The water was skimming all over the place. It was hard to breath because the water was going everywhere and you didn't want bugs in your mouth. Wow, we turned the corner in a flash. We were having fun, I love water skiing.

Zach's Descriptive Writing

I'm holding on with all my might, screaming my head off. I'm as wet as snow, as fast as a rocket. It came to a stop, I want to go again!

Trish's Descriptive Writing

I'm on a biscuit, not a real one just a water kind, but it is really scary but fun. I have butterflies in my tummy. It is wet like I'm having a bath. The water is cold, a bit too cold. There was a few on the lake. I was jumping really high, it was done. I started to run for joy, the biscuit ride was so fun and wicked. The biscuit was purple, it was round and it was hard to grip on.

Monique's Descriptive Writing

Sweet and Sour
I climb in and yell out GO! We take off and it feels like I'm in a horror movie, then it's like lollies and fizzy. The water sprays my eyes, I can't see for a couple of seconds. Then I hear a scream and my friend is off. They go slower, and slower and slower. The waves get bigger, and bigger and bigger. I get tipped off and I don't see a thing. I come up, a wave crashes over me. We get back on and they take us home.

New Pope

The conclave has started but there was black smoke from the chimney. Keep up to date to find out who the next Pope will be.

Ben Brenner's Descriptive Writing

Whoosh, splash. The ice freezing water went into my face. The water felt as if it was hail. Now we were going faster and faster in the huge bubble, doughnut shaped biscuit. Beside me my sister was screaming her head off. She touched the water and said, "The water is ice". When we got off I said, "Let's do it again".

Niveek's Descriptive Writing

Whoosh, splash, smash! It's like he is the quickest of them all. It is the most extraordinary ride. It is as fast as a cheetah. It's like he is going to slip, like he's going to fall, but no. It's amazing, it's so fabulous. The water is the most beautiful water you can think of.

Joel's Descriptive Writing

There I was, standing still as a rock, but not for long as the buscuit revs up the lake like a car. We were screaming our heads off. Our feet were kicking like crazy, this is a death trap. This is an illusion and that's my conclusion.

New Member of Our Class

Today we have a new addition to our class. Nina and Zach have brought in a monarch caterpillar on a swan plant for us all to enjoy. Now we just have to decide what to name it. What will it be called? ...

Aarran's Descriptive Writing

I went on a biscuit once, it was bumpy and rough. Halfway around I almost fell off. I was on the wave that the boat made. The boat was going as fast as a cheetah. At the end the waves pushed me back to Shore It was amazing and rocking.

Darcy's Descriptive Writing

Help! Water splashed in my face. I was cold and then whoosh I let go! I thought I was going to drown but I remembered I was wearing a lifejacket. Pop, I fell into the water. I floated, Yay!
