Miniball Results

The Rockets and the Bullets played each other. The Rockets came out on top, winning with 12 points to 6. The girls had a bye this week.

Instructions

In writing we are learning about what makes instructions good and easy to follow. Today we tried to follow some difficult instructions this is what we made:

When we followed the easy instructions we managed to make the paper cup because it had a title, specific instructions and pictures to help us.

Weekend Sports Results

We have some amazing athletes in Kahikatea. These were our sports results from the weekend:

Rugby
9-10 year olds - The score was 37-4, they lost unfortunately.
Seniors - The Score was 82-14, they lost too. Better luck next time boys.

Netball
Steel - The score was 10-1, they won.
Blues - The score was 29-2, they won too. Well done girls keep it up.

Soccer
White knights - The score was 3-2, they won.
Aces - The score was 6-0, they lost.
Strikers - The score was 9-7, they lost.

Catholic Schools Day

On Wednesday it was Catholic Schools day. We went to Saint Kevins and had a great Mass with them. Then we went to the pool. These are some photos of our time at the pool:

Xbox 360 Vina Pinata

I was playing the Xbox 360 I was deciding what game to play. I finally decided VINA PINATA Trouble in Paradise!! There is a lot of piñatas like kitty, floss, mouse, mollo and all the other ones. The Piñata games are amazing. The fashion game and the race game are just so amazing. I love playing Vina Piñata trouble in Paradise, it is awesome.

There are four lands in one world Iceland, Lava land, Grass land and the desert. I have unlocked all of the lands except one, the Lava land. You can get this game in the warehouse for $19 and 90 cents. This game is the best in the world!

My holiday

Are Darcy and Madaleine here yet, I can’t wait until they get here, oh wait they are here. Now we can go into the movies, but we have to get some food to eat while we watch the movie. The movie starts we all go silent there’s a funny part oh wait that’s not a funny part that’s the funny part.

Wow that movie was awesome we need to go see that again sometime. Then we all say good bye and they left. I ask mum and dad what we are going to do they said that we are going to go to portside restaurant for a drink. So we stayed there until my brother’s movie was finished. Then Mum got a text from my brother saying come and pick me and Kim up. Mum replied start walking to the ware house we will come there.

At the ware house I brought a pair of boots that said $39.99 but when I paid for them they were $20 so it was on sale. My brother bought a set of sneakers, some lollies and something else. My Mum and Dad bought a set of squash rackets, they were on sale too.

After we went to the warehouse we went and got some lunch. We had some McDonalds, it was delicious but I was full so we kept it for the next day.

Maddison's Recount

It’s time Laura’s birthday sleepover. Me and Mum arrived at Laura’s house at 3:00pm with all of my stuff and the mattress so off we drove on Friday 26^th of April. It was time to go so we got in Suzanne’s car and went to the bowling. When we got there Nina and Kate were there. Then Darcy and Madaleine came and then Niveek came. Alannah and Holly were going to be a bit late.

Yes! It was time to go ten pin bowling! When it was my turn I picked up the bowling ball and bowled the ball and hit 3 pins. On my second bowl in that turn I hot 7 pins. My last bowl came around and I bowled 7 pins so my total was 82.

After the bowling Suzanne gave us $2 each and Madaleine and I played air hockey, Madaleine won 7 to 6.

Laura’s birthday was really really fun. My favourite part was bowling. I describe it as awesome.

Camping

Camping is the most fun time in the world because we swim, bike and stay up late.

The lake was taken over by drunken teenagers. We had to find a new camp to camp at. But me and Bailey, Cassidy and Ally-May still want to go there.

One weekend my Mum, Dad, Ally-May, Cassidy, me, Bailey and my cousins came over and we camped and we went on the boat. I fell off the biscuit, it was funny. But the next time I held on for dear life and made it alive and well.

It was the best time of my life.

Sleepover

You hear a scream, a laugh and a movie? It’s a sleepover! On the 20^th of April 2013 I had a sleepover! For my birthday party it was so cool! At my sleepover there was Darcy, Niveek, Mekeisha, Madaleine, Tegan and of course me!

We all get in the car and mum droves us somewhere. We dance in the car on the way. Some were there and we are getting our nails, toes and hair done with a bit of makeup! First I get my nails done as the night sky! Next I get my hair done in a little plait. Last I get my toes done pink, black and silver with little flowers.

It was super dooper fun. I hope I can do it next year as well.
